September 8th, 2023

FEDERAL PLAZA

CHICAGO, IL

Our purpose is to promote change in our society and in our laws by raising awareness about the devastation to our innocent loved ones who can all too easily become entangled in our legal system due to false accusations.

Keynote Speaker Orion Monroe

11:30 – 11:45

Writer and Director of the “Butterfly” film, Board Member of Advocates For the Falsely Accused

Butterfly is a heartrending film currently in production that tells the true story of a young man falsely accused of sexual assault. This film, a critical next step following the Johnny Depp trial, will enrage your soul as you begin to see how easily our innocent men and boys are wrongfully convicted.

Guest Speakers

11:45 – 1:30

Lori DeBolt, Co-Founder & President of Advocates For the Falsely Accused (AFFA) and Associate Producer of Butterfly

Tim Goldich, Vice President of National Coalition For Men (NCFM)

Carol Nesteikis, Co-Founder & Vice President of Decriminalize Developmentally Disabled D3 (formerly LRIDD)

Jacques Rivera, President Innocent Demand Justice

Other speakers include Les Bender, Katrina Overfield, Clark Savage, Jr., and Eric Scott

Jaimin Weets will be travelling from Northern Virginia to entertain us with his singing and guitar

Meet & Mingle with the Speakers

1:30 – 3:00

Stay with us after the presentation. Talk with our speakers to gain a deeper understanding of false accusations and discover what we all need to do to return our justice system to one based on truth and evidence. Too many law enforcement personnel, prosecutors, judges, institutions, and the court of public opinion are predisposed to assume guilt without any presumption of innocence. Anyone can easily slip into the system. Psychological trauma, anxiety, and depression overwhelm the innocent and can lead to reputational loss, financial disaster, wrongful imprisonment, and more.

Learn how to help the innocent by becoming an advocate and speaking out for justice.
